            When I was about 12 and living in Detroit, I had an urging to attend the local Methodist church. Our family never went to church nor did we have and conversations about religion or God. There was no neighbor or friend who invited me to go, I just had a feeling that I would like it. So even though I had to cross a busy street to get there, I went.

            About a year later we moved to the suburbs and there was no church within walking distance. My parents drove me to town to a Baptist Church and decided that as long as they were there anyway they might as well go too.

            We all attended regularly and my Dad became the church treasurer and my Mom was the wedding chairman.

            I am so grateful God was able to lead us all in this direction as the benefits for us all were tremendous.
