For April 14th:
“I do not cease to give thanks for you,
remembering you in my prayers,…” Ephesians1:16
Project #7
Prayer Challenge---
Our next project comes from Addie McCallie. The
challenge in this project will require absolute dependence on God, which, of
course, is the point.
CUMC Women’s Ministry
Are there places that you visit on a
daily or weekly basis where it is hard to have a spirit of gratitude? It may be
when the kids get home for school, at work, or when you are around a particular
person. Pray that God would give you the strength to show gratitude when you
are in those places and with those people.
Family is a wonderful thing--a very
special blessing that God gives each of us. Though having a family is
wonderful, they may sometimes be the most difficult people to be grateful for.
Take some time today to pray for your family.
Practicing adoration
can be cumbersome at times, particularly when you are adoring the God of the
universe. What do you say to him? How can your words be enough? Practice
adoring God today by thanking him for the many things he has done for you in
the past and for the things that he does throughout this day. Do not be
concerned with your words; just speak what's on your heart.
