"No one has ever seen God; but if we love one another, God
lives in us and his love is made complete in us." 1 John 4:12
Project #19-Keep It a Secret Kris Kringle
When I was growing up, my family had
a Christmas tradition (Kris Kringle) that I now do with my kids. We
put everyone's name in a bowl, and each of us draw out a name. Then, for the
month of December until Christmas you have to do something each day for
the person whose name you pulled. You can make something or do something
nice for that person. Sometimes we buy each other a little something.
The idea is to just be loving and kind to each other by doing small acts
of kindness. You keep it a secret (or at least try) until Christmas Eve.
The kids will sneak around trying to surprise their person, and it's
a great way for us to spread some love in our own house.
