“My soul finds rest in God alone; my salvation
comes from him.”
Psalm 62:1
Rain
on a red tin roof is my sole companion. Chinked pine logs envelope me in a nook
of cozy. I cocoon here like a
fuzzy caterpillar awaiting transformation. The volume of this clattery world
has been muted, if only for a brief time. The distractions are deleted. The
interruptions interrupted. This modest cabin in the woods is where I disconnect
to reconnect. It is where I seek and find the Restorer of my soul. Thank You,
Lord.
