For June 6th:
“Rejoice always,…” 1 Thessalonians 5:16

Project #10- Sand Pail Blessings
This is a counting blessings project for the whole family that is similar to the Valentine project from the February edition of this “Living a Life of Gratitude Daily Devotional” but with a twist for the summer months.
Place an empty sand pail in a prominent location in your home that will encourage daily participation. Alongside or inside the pail provide slips of paper (maybe shaped like sea shells, starfish, sand dollars, etc.) and a pen. Encourage your family to write down the things they are thankful for this summer, blessings they notice written on the slips of paper. Fold them up and throw them in the bucket. At the end of the season just before school starts back, pick a day to sit down together and read the counted blessings aloud.
It will remind everyone of the happy memories from weeks of fun in the sun and hopefully make everyone realize and see that God was with you and your family the whole summer.
Have fun!
