For April 27th:
“I give you thanks, O Lord, with my whole heart;
before the gods I sing your praise; I bow down toward your Holy temple and give
thanks to your name for your steadfast love and faithfulness, for you have
exalted above all things your name and your word.” Psalm 138:1-2
Gratitude Project #8
A Thank You Note Station:
Put
together a “thank you note station” on your desk or counter so you are always
prepared when the time comes to write a thank you note. Any kind of sectioned
box or organizer will work as long as there is room for everything you need.
Include items such as Forever Stamps from the post office, note cards and
envelopes, small address book to organize your addresses and tape business
cards into, return address labels, and assorted colors of fine tip pens (Le Pens or RSVP are nice), for smooth writing.
You
can get creative by decorating the keeping box and also by using blank cards
and then embellishing them with stamps, kids art or your own creations.
When
you have all the supplies organized and at your fingertips you will be more
likely to send the necessary notes, as well as maybe even surprising someone
with an unexpected note of gratitude just for being who they are in your life.
