For April 21st:
“…But
when you give to the needy, do not let your left hand know what your right hand
is doing, so that your giving may be in secret. And your Father who sees in
secret will reward you.” Matthew 6:3-4
In each edition of
this “Living a Life of Gratitude” Daily Devotional, we have been encouraged to
show our gratitude to others (and ultimately to God) in a selfless way through
anonymous acts of kindness. Anonymous acts are not always easy to pull off, but
with some effort and a little creativity, it can happen. And the joy the giver
receives is as abundant as the joy the recipient of the kindness experiences.
When you have opportunities, try the ideas and experience the bountiful joy of
blessing another in this most selfless way. Have fun!
#7-
Let the mother holding an infant carrier and toddler’s hand move ahead
of you in the line at the post office or some other line.
#8- Pick up trash/litter when you see it and
deposit in a proper waste collection container.
#9- Donate books in good condition to your
library or under-privileged tutoring center or school. Don’t ask for a donation
receipt.
Have fun!
