For March 11th:

Just a week after high school graduation, my son joined the marines. He was a Marine for 4 years and when he got out he went on to college to get his degree and then continued on to receive his masters in social work from the University of Michigan. A few years later he married and now has a 7 year old son and a 3 year old daughter, and they all still reside in Michigan. Through all these years I’ve been praying for him and his family and hoping that God would turn my son’s thoughts to see how important it is to have God guiding our lives. I talk to my son every few weeks and last summer I got a call from him one Sunday afternoon and he said to me, “Guess where I went this morning?”. And I said, “I don’t know, where?”. His response was, “To church!”. I was so happy I could literally feel my heart jump for joy. He’s been attending church every Sunday with his son and they are both enjoying it.
